Kozbükü Hydroelectric Power Plant

Project Overview
Kozbükü Hydroelectric Power Plant is located within the natural beauty of the Black Sea Region, in a valley belonging to the Ulubey district, amidst a predominantly forested and mountainous geography. The area features a landscape where deep rivers flow down the slopes, surrounded by small settlements.

Energy Output
The Kozbükü Hydroelectric Power Plant has an installed capacity of 83.57 MWh. With this capacity, the plant meets the electricity consumption needs of approximately 80,000 families in Ordu.

Environmental Impact
Kozbükü Hydroelectric Power Plant eliminates 165,000 tons of carbon emissions each year, which would otherwise be produced by fossil fuel-based power plants.
