Otluca Hydroelectric Power Plant is located in the Otluca region of Hakkâri, in a mountainous and rugged area. Thanks to the region's high altitude and strong rivers, the plant is situated in an ideal location for energy production, utilizing the natural flow of the rivers to generate electricity. Surrounded by the impressive views of the Cilo and Sat Mountains, Otluca stands out not only for its natural beauty but also for its rich water resources. Located in an area with agricultural lands and small settlements, the plant plays an important role in meeting the energy needs of Hakkâri and its surrounding areas.

Otluca Hydroelectric Power Plant has an installed capacity of 1.39 MWh. With this capacity, the plant is capable of meeting the electricity consumption needs of approximately 1,000 households.

Otluca Hydroelectric Power Plant eliminates 2,000 tons of carbon emissions annually, which would otherwise be produced by fossil fuel-based power plants.
